Take the Bachelor Degree and Doctor of Chiropractic Program Path

Completion of both, a bachelor degree and the Doctor of Chiropractic program are possible by following these steps:

  • Choose a bachelor degree: BS in Biology, BS in Biopsychology, BS in Nutrition or BS in Exercise Science.
  • Complete 135 quarter hours of college credit toward one of the degrees noted above (while fulfilling the 135 quarter hour requirements for entry into the chiropractic program).
  • Enter the Doctor of Chiropractic program where several courses taken will satisfy requirements in both the bachelor’s program and the chiropractic program.
  • Add any remaining bachelor degree courses to your schedule at intervals during the 14-quarter chiropractic program.
  • Graduate with both a bachelor degree and a professional, Doctor of Chiropractic degree.

Please check with the Chiropractic State Board for the state(s) in which you intend to be licensed as some states require a bachelor’s degree prior to matriculation into the doctor of chiropractic program.
