Department of Transitional Studies
Mission Statement:
The Department of Transitional Studies supports the College of Arts and Sciences by identifying students who are not academically prepared to attempt college level courses and offering remedial instruction in writing, math, and reading so they can matriculate into ENG 101, ENG 102, and MAT 101 (or MAT 100). The department also provides advisement and academic support to provisionally admitted students.
