QUALIFICATIONS FOR ADMISSION AND COMPLETION

OF THE SPORT HEALTH SCIENCE PROGRAM

In order to meet the academic/practical and technical requirements for admission to, participation in, and completion of the Sport Health Science Program, all students must possess the physical and mental abilities to perform the functions and tasks that are essential and fundamental to the field of Sport Health Science.  These essential qualifications and requirements for the Sport Health Science Program include but are not limited to:

Physical and mental ability to perform in the various practical settings, the  exercise science laboratory, the biomechanics laboratory and the physiological therapeutics laboratory without posing a threat to themselves or others;

Physical and mental ability to perform the primary skills of the functions essential to the areas of Chiropractic Sport Science and Exercise and Sport Science and Sport Injury Management

Verbal and written communication, hearing and visual senses (with the help of auxiliary aids if necessary) to record client histories, to provide and to perform anthropometric, physical assessment and interpretation of the laboratory data with a high level of competency.

All students must be able to display a high level of competency in all phases of classroom, practical and laboratory activities.  To the extent that any student does not possess these essential qualifications, Life University may deny admission to, or graduation from, the Sport Health Science Program.
