Commemorating the founding of Life College in 1974, The 1974 Club provides a vehicle for alumni and friends of Life University to support our mission and to enable the University’s work in educating the leaders of tomorrow. With a gift of $19.74 per month, the members of The 1974 Club celebrate our rich history and support our future.

For a monthly gift of $19.74, you can help Life University in its ongoing mission to
produce productive, effective, and well-centered leaders. The 1974 Club provides
a way for you to make a significant investment in the institution.

Of course, all contributions to Life University are tax-deductible to the fullest extent
of the law. To recognize your gift of $19.74 per month, we would like to send you
the new 1974 Club Life University lapel pin—a rendition of Life University’s logo.
This pin is available exclusively to charter members of The 1974 Club.

Life University Mission
Life University, located in Marietta, Georgia, is a private, not-for-profit institution of higher education serving a diverse student population. The primary mission of the university is educating the whole student. In keeping with its founding principles, Life University strives to develop and enhance human potential through the university setting by perpetuating the ideals of “Lasting Purpose—giving, loving, and serving out of abundance.” Accomplishment of these ideals occurs through the encouragement and support of scholarly studies and commitment to public service.

Supporting Life University
Life University invites you to become a member of the 1974 Club—cadres of alumni and friends dedicated to supporting the University’s future by combining their gifts with those of others—the power of numbers.
Your gift to Life University will fund

  • important scholarly and clinical research that will advance knowledge in the academic and professional disciplines and drive beneficial changes in business, health care, and the life sciences;
  • scholarships for students who are tomorrow’s chiropractors, entrepreneurs and leaders in business and life sciences;
  • success in reclaiming our proud tradition of athletic excellence in rugby, hockey,
  • soccer, tennis, basketball, and volleyball and the new field of triathlon training; and
  • clinics and labs with state-of-the-art chiropractic equipment so that Life University graduates enter the professional world better trained, more knowledgeable, and better prepared for their careers, their practices, and their lives.

Life University today
Today, under the leadership of Dr. Guy F. Riekeman, president and a fully committed Board of Trustees, the original vision of Life University is sustained in its undergraduate, graduate, and chiropractic programs which revolutionize higher education and set the standard of excellence in contemporary health care education. In addition to our pre-chiropractic and doctor of chiropractic programs, our bachelor’s degrees in nutrition, dietetics, biology, and psychology; and our master’s degree in sport health science; we now offer both the bachelor of business administration degree
and specialized programs that teach the business of operating a successful chiropractic
practice, and we are adding a new program in life coaching.

Our thriving chiropractic program now offers a complete business program to help students prepare to open successful practices immediately following graduation as well as an international clinical experience in Costa Rica and China for our
14th quarter students.
