- If your plan involves changing patterns of activity complete a PAR-Q and You Form to help assess limitations.
- If you answer yes to any PAR-Q questions check with your health care practitioner before making any changes in your activity levels.
- Once you are cleared for activity use the Activity Calendar to keep track of your activity levels.
- Begin your plan gradually. Take small steps at first.
- Monitor and assess your progress using a Wellness Diary. Amend your plan as necessary or desired.
- Celebrate your victories as you experience more vibrant health and a better quality of life.
- Share your success with others. Wellness can be more contagious than disease.
