Why Life?

Life University’s College of Chiropractic has a long tradition of embracing the philosophy of chiropractic as the foundational underpinning for the Doctor of Chiropractic Program.

As Life University moves into the 21st century dialogue on contemporary scientific paradigms, the University continues to emphasize the vitalistic philosophy at the heart of Life’s chiropractic model.

Unlike other chiropractic colleges that train students solely in condition-based, therapeutic approaches to care, Life’s Doctor of Chiropractic program emphasizes chiropractic’s individual approach to expressing optimal health through the identification and correction of the vertebral subluxation. Life continues to graduate some of the most successful chiropractors in our profession.

To accomplish this, Life’s DC program provides the student with a different learning experience than many chiropractic colleges. One important distinction is that our curriculum identifies key topical areas important to the chiropractic value proposition and practice success and emphasizes these areas. These areas of emphasis include:

Business Success

Beginning immediately in first quarter, students are formally introduced to concepts necessary for business success. They are provided an extensive patient/office management procedural education in which they become immersed in all aspects of office management from front desk procedures to coding and explanation of benefits.

The business curriculum is capped off with two very specialized educational experiences.  All chiropractic students are required to self select to one of three proprietary practice coaching company’s for their year-long practice management program.  This opportunity is provided at no additional charge to the student.

In addition, senior students take classes in the discipline of business from experienced faculty in the University’s undergraduate business program.  All tolled, Life’s Principles of Practice and Business Management program prepares students for the business of chiropractic.
