The Center for Health and Optimum Performance (C-HOP)

Although the classroom experience provides the foundation for a chiropractic education, it’s in the clinic setting where it really comes together. That’s why Life College of Chiropractic students begin working and studying in our clinics right from the start.

Every step in the process opens a window to teaching and learning. There is no abrupt departure from classroom to clinic at Life. We provide a seamless learning environment in which you live the clinic experience from day one, progressing logically from observer to participant to practicing doctor.

You’ll first participate in our state-of-the-art Campus Center for Health and Optimum Performance as a clinical observer and as a patient experiencing the full range of care. Through a faculty-based mentorship model, you’ll progress to assisting in procedures and learn the steps to founding and running your own chiropractic practice.

Our Campus Center is designed with you and your learning experience in mind. This handsome and well-equipped facility features large, open patient care areas that enable students to observe a range of patient-doctor encounters. You’ll also observe the latest patient care technologies in action, including digital X-ray and computerized Myovision thermography and surface EMG.

You’ll also learn how to educate community members about our vitalistic approach to well being that recognizes and respects the body’s inborn abilities to maintain itself in a state of health. And, you’ll have the opportunity to utilize the chiropractic services provided by student interns and seasoned faculty to help you reach more of your potential for health and peak performance.

As you transition from the Campus Center to developing higher level patient management skills in the Community Center for Health and Optimum Performance
(C-HOP) in tenth quarter, you will already know the appropriate procedures and protocols because both facilities operate in a similar manner. You’ll progress from early student to doctor of chiropractic smoothly, seamlessly and confidently, never wondering if you’re ready for the next step. You’ll know you are.
