Conduct Review Board

Conduct Review Board

Seeking Applications for membership on the Life University Conduct Review Board

If you are looking for a unique way to serve the Life University community, please consider applying to be a member of the Conduct Review Board (CRB). CRB members assist in providing a safe and comfortable environment for all of us to live, work and learn. CRB members are committed to the values of Civility, Integrity, Community and Respect. A position as a CRB member is a thought-provoking and challenging experience and comes with a high level of responsibility.

The Conduct Review Board has the authority to conduct hearings to determine if an accused member of the Life University student community is in violation of the Standards of Conduct, and to impose sanctions, as appropriate.

In order to be eligible to serve on the CRB, individuals must meet the following requirements:

  • Students must be registered as full-time in good academic and disciplinary standing, and have completed at least one (1) quarter of full-time coursework at Life University.
  • Faculty must have been employed by Life University for a minimum of one (1) academic year and have taught at least one course within the most recent two (2) academic quarters.
  • Staff must be currently employed and must have been employed by Life University for at least one (1) complete quarter.

Applicants who wish to serve as members of the CRB must attend training. This consists of presentations on the Life University Honor Code and Student Conduct Process, group exercises in questioning and listening skills and group decision-making, and a mock hearing. Applicants must be able to attend the entire session.

Once training has been completed, the time commitment to serve on the CRB is minimal. You will be asked to serve on approximately 1-2 hearings per calendar year.

Selection Process:

Applications are accepted on the on-going basis.

Applications will be screened by the Director of Conflict Resolution and Accountability, and qualified applicants will be contacted via email to schedule interviews.

Interviews will be held in person with the Director of Conflict Resolution and Accountability.
