My Life Profile: Daniel F. Massa, D.C.
Doctor Dan—30 Years in the MakingDaniel F. Massa, D.C., born in Brooklyn and raised in Jersey, decided when he was 15 years old he wanted to be a doctor of chiropractic. It took him about 30 years. When he graduated high school in 1977, he went to college but ran out of money. He joined the Army, got on with his life and saved some money along the way. In 1988 he moved to Georgia and continued his undergraduate education down the road from LIFE University. He had kept his professional goal in focus the whole time. “I always knew I wanted to be a chiropractor. I was passionate about it.” Then tragedy struck. In 1989 his dad was killed in a car accident. Dan moved back to New Jersey to help his mom. Along came distractions, owning a business, marriage, a son, and, then, when his last employer was bought out, Dan was out too. His chiropractor friends said, “Go ahead, Dan, it’s time to do what you always wanted to do.” So, Dan Massa returned to Georgia, and in 2002 he finished up his prerequisites and began the chiropractic program, graduating in September 2006. Doctor Dan is now 47 and plans to open his first chiropractic office soon. In the meantime, he’s doing student recruiting for LIFE University. “I believe in chiropractic and in the vision of LIFE. It’s wonderful to share my experience with others.” Check this LIFE website, and you can find out when Dan Massa, D.C., may be recruiting in your area. You can meet him and hear more about his career passion and your own opportunities at LIFE. “I never let the fire die,” Doctor Dan says, 30 years after it was lit. He’d be happy to pass you the torch. |
