Why Become a Chiropractor?
You’ll Truly Make a Difference!

Most people get a job and work it for years. Others invest a little more of themselves and climb the success ladder. But some—the lucky ones—realize that choosing your life’s work means pursuing your passion. And those people change the world.

That certain spark

The career decisions you make today will determine what you’re doing 20 years from now. They will impact your choice of mentors, how much time you have for family and friends, how engaged you are with your community, where you can afford to send your kids to college, what house you can buy, and how many people will say, “That person is making a difference.”

Plenty of careers provide opportunities to use and hone specific skills, earn a nice income and gain respect. But some people have this yearning – call it passion, an inner voice, a calling – that demands more. They won’t be satisfied until they are striving toward their potential and helping others do the same. These people make great chiropractors.

Contemporary health care

Years ago, people expected a physician to provide some external intervention to fix a particular symptom in a one-size-fits-all model of treatment. The doctor was the all-knowing expert, and the patient dutifully implemented the orders.

Today people are more likely to think of their physician as a health consultant or coach, a partner to help achieve goals of optimal performance and well-being. Research into today’s largest population segment, 78 million Baby Boomers, shows these individuals demand greater self empowerment in healthcare decisions. They also relentlessly pursue a quality of life that will allow their fullest expression of health and happiness.

That mind set dovetails perfectly with what chiropractors have taught their patients for years, that the body is a self-regulating, self-healing, dynamic organism that needs all parts working in harmony to achieve physical, mental and emotional well-being – true health.
