Q: What are a few reasons for visiting your advisors?

A:Students can meet with their advisor for planning their educational career, developing skills needed for academic success, and learning how to connect with additional on-campus resources. In addition, Students can meet with their advisors for letters of recommendation, registration concerns, internships, schedule adjustments, and hold removal.

Q: How should I prepare for my advisement appointment?

A: Students must plan for their classes for the next three quarters, review their program, and prepare questions prior to their advisement appointment.

Q: How can I identify my Faculty Advisor?

A: Please refer to your EagleNet account to identify your Faculty Advisor. You will be assigned a faculty advisor if you fall under the following categories:

  • Undergraduate Transfer Students with 135+ credit hours applied to their major
  • Undergraduate student who’ve completed 3 quarters with a PASS Advisor.
  • Doctor of Chiropractic students who’ve completed 5 quarters with a PASS Advisor.

Q: I am a graduate student, who is my advisor?

A:All masters level students are assigned to faculty advisors through their academic department. Please refer to your Eaglenet account to identify your Graduate Advisor.

Q: How should I prepare for my advisement appointment

A:Students must plan for their classes for the next three quarters, review their program, and prepare questions prior to their advisement appointment.

Q: I am a Dual Enrolled in the DC and Undergraduate program. Who is my advisor?

A: Doctor of Chiropractic students transferring into an Undergraduate program will be advised by a CGUS Faculty Advisor.

Q: Can I meet with any advisor available?

A: Students are encouraged to meet with their assigned advisor as notated in EagleNet.

Q: How can I make an appointment to meet with my advisor?

Q: I have a faculty advisor; how would I make an appointment with them?

A: Please email your faculty advisor to schedule an appointment.

Q: Where is the University Advising Center located?

A: The University Advising Center is in the CCE building room 103.

Q: How can I access my degree progress?

A: Students can track and monitor their degree progress in EagleNet.
