Doctor of Chiropractic Prerequisite Announcement
The mission of Life University College of Chiropractic, centered on the Vertebral Subluxation Complex, focuses on providing an educational environment that promotes graduating skilled and compassionate Doctor of Chiropractic to be primary care clinicians, physicians, teachers and professionals, using the University’s Core Values as their foundation. The college is constantly reviewing its curriculum and learning atmosphere to ensure that students are able to progress to graduation by identifying areas that can be better structured. These ongoing reviews yield changes that help to support a student’s learning journey from their first quarter to graduation.
The College of Chiropractic has performed a structural resequencing of its prerequisites that supports the acceleration of a student’s progression to completion of the Doctor of Chiropractic Program. This resequencing is part of the college’s commitment to continuous improvement and student success. This endeavor was a collaborative effort created and approved by the College of Chiropractic faculty and administration.
This structural resequencing of the prerequisites will go into effect for each student in the Doctor of Chiropractic program starting Winter Quarter 2019. The sequenced prerequisites will be published in the Winter 2019 quarterly announcements and will be reflected in the University catalog as well as the Winter 2019 DCP course syllabi.
The Life University College of Chiropractic prides itself on providing the best chiropractic education that promotes competent and skilled graduates. If you have any questions, please contact Dr. Leslie King, Dean of the College of Chiropractic at LeslieK@LIFE.edu.
