Division of Natural Sciences

The Division of Natural Sciences provides vital foundational course offerings in biology, chemistry, mathematics and physics for all students.

As a result of the increasingly important role of science and technology in society, the diverse course offerings are designed to relate basic principles of science in nature and to relate the impact of technology on society, emphasizing the rationale of the scientific method, analytical reasoning and computational analysis.

The Division of Natural Sciences offers an Associate of Science degree in Health and Wellness and two Bachelor of Science degrees in Biology and Human Ecology.

Graduates are well trained and equipped to attend a graduate school or a related professional school (e.g., chiropractic, medical, dental or allied health schools); to work in a variety industries; or be prepared for other science fields (e.g., teaching, management, law).
