2019 Mandatory Annual Harassment & Anti-Discrimination Training

Life University strives to provide an educational and work environment for all faculty, staff and students that is free from unlawful harassment and discrimination. It is the University’s expectation that Harassment and Anti-Discrimination training be completed annually by all full-time and part-time employees as part of our commitment to an inclusive and respectful community.

You are required to receive two sets of trainings; one from Human Resources and one from the Title IX Office. While the trainings may appear similar, they are different from one another. Each training is mandatory. Participation is tracked electronically; therefore, it is not necessary to provide printed or email confirmation.
Human Resources’ online Harassment and Anti-Discrimination courses (presented via Skillsoft) take approximately 40 minutes for non-managers and 65 minutes for managers to complete. This includes a mastery test requiring a passing score of 75% or better.
2019 New Hires should have completed this training within their first 30-days. Those that have not, or employees who took the training in 2018, must comply. For most, the Skillsoft training will not be available or accessible until the week of November 4. Therefore, we ask that you complete this online training no later than Friday, November 8, 2019.
To access the training:
  • Go to the following URL: https://is035.skillport.com/skillportfe/login.action
  • Username: Life University email address (For example: john.smith@life.edu)  *PLEASE NOTE: use full email address.
  • Temporary Password: welcome / OR your existing password if you have one.
  • Access Training: Select “View Learning Plan” and then launch each of the three courses listed above.
Remember, you are required to complete two sets of training. They are distinct and implicate different legal requirements.
Please do not hesitate to contact Monica Ward, Employee Relations Officer in the Human Resource Department, at 770.426.2943 or by email at Monica.Ward@LIFE.edu should you have any questions or difficulties logging into Skillsoft.
Thank you for your cooperation!
