Charmaine A. Herman, BA, BS, MA, DC considers herself blessed to be able to live her passions at Life University and as a private chiropractic practitioner. Dr. Herman’s passion for teaching and educating the next generation of chiropractic professionals is satisfied in her position as an Assistant Professor in the Division of Clinical Sciences. Here she works with students daily in a variety of clinical sciences courses, such as orthopedic diagnosis lab, visceral diagnosis and 7th quarter clinical skills lab. She has been a college educator since 2002 in various subjects and at different institutions, but she is extremely happy to call Life University her home.

Next, as adviser to the Upper Cervical Student Society and the Toggle Club at Life University, her passion for contributing to the growth of upper cervical (UC) chiropractic care is also enjoyed. Dr. Herman supports students who want to learn more about the various upper cervical techniques and practice the skill of adjusting using the Toggle technique for clinic and beyond. Then, as owner of Agape Upper Cervical Health Center, Inc. in Alpharetta, GA, where Dr. Herman uses the Blair UC chiropractic technique for analyzing/correcting the cervical spine, she continues to live her passion for helping sick people become well. Dr. Herman is currently one of two Georgia chiropractors certified to use the Blair UC chiropractic technique by the Blair Chiropractic Society. Additionally, she is one of two Faculty Certified Blair Instructors in the country and will be teaching the Blair UC technique and analysis as an elective at Life University.

Lastly, Dr. Herman’s passion for UC chiropractic includes actively publishing upper cervical research case studies and presenting this information at various national chiropractic research conferences. Her research interests are in documenting how Blair UC chiropractic care assists in resolving or improving both musculoskeletal and non-musculoskeletal complaints.
