Mission of Enrollment Events
LIFE University Enrollment Events, such as LIFE Leadership Weekend and LIFE Europe Informational Nights, are exciting and unique because they foster a sense of family and belonging. The events are meant to be an opportunity for students to explore the University offerings and degree programs, however, most students end up leaving our events feeling inspired to become a part of an institution that is trying to change the world. Our events have been described as “life-changing.” This is because of the mission of the University, to empower each student with the education, skills, and values needed for career success and life-long fulfillment based on a vitalistic philosophy. The Universities students, employees, faculty, and administration all come together to help guests develop their sense of purpose, while also making them feel like they have a true home at LIFE University. All events are very much aligned with the mission of the University and we strive to make sure the mission is carried out in all activities as well as the University’s Vitalistic Philosophy, which in itself makes our university experience unique. We are a University that is committed to Serving Lasting Purpose—To Give, To Love, To Serve Out of a Sense of Abundance. We approach this belief in every event we host and our prospective students and guests walk away with a new found awakening in these philosophies.
LIFE Leadership Weekend Q & A.
1-Q: Is there an age limit in order to attend LLW?
A: We welcome participants who are 17 and older. However, it is important to note that all participants under the age of 18 must be escorted to LIFE Leadership Weekend by a parent or legal guardian.
2-Q: I have registered for the LIFE Leadership Weekend Europe (LLWE), what’s next?
There is still much to do to secure your weekend with us. Please be on the lookout for email correspondence and if you need to update your email, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please be mindful in checking your spam and trash folders for our email correspondence. Important information regarding hotel, shuttle and guest information will be emailed 6-8 weeks prior to the event date. Without your email response and confirmation your registration may result in forced cancellation. If you register for the weekend within 6-8 weeks of the event date our office will automatically begin to send you the necessary emails to confirm your attendance and ask you to secure your registration details. It is important that you be mindful of deadlines.
3-Q: What if my email or phone number changes since I registered for the event?
A: That is no problem, but we need you to email us at Europeevents@life.edu with the email and telephone updates.
4-Q: What if a friend and I are both interested in the Chiropractic program and both want to come the same weekend?
A: LIFE provides two nights hotel stay for all guests. If you are a prospective student and you have a friend who is also a registered prospective student coming to the weekend, we kindly ask that you share a room. Contact LIFE’s Events Team with the name of the prospective student with whom you would like to share a room with and we will notify the hotel. If you are a local Rome resident we encourage you to stay at the hotel with us so that you may get the full experience of the weekend.
5-Q: Can I bring a guest? How many guests can I bring? What is covered for guests?
A:We encourage you to bring a guest and they are welcome to attend all sessions with you. If you bring a guest they are welcome to use provided transportation and join in on all meals; however, guests are required to share your hotel room or are responsible for their own hotel arrangements.
6-Q: Are children welcome at LLW?
A: We do not recommend bringing children to the weekend because of the day-long events and activities not designed for children. This event requires full participation at all times.
