Faculty Focus Group for OSRSA Research Project
Dr. Charmaine Herman of the College of Chiropractic, Division of Clinical Sciences, is completing the data gathering phase of her OSRSA research project entitled “Preparing the 21st Century Chiropractor – Cultural Competency in the Chiropractic Education.” During the summer 2018 College of Chiropractic meeting, she administered a faculty survey about cultural competency and the Life University COC curriculum. The completed surveys provided a great deal of information.
In January 2019 during Weeks 3 and 4, a private consultant will be conducting a series of focus group discussions with COC students and faculty about cultural competency in the Life University COC program. The focus group will meet on campus for no more than one and a half hours.
The faculty focus group will consist of 10-12 COC faculty members. All participants will received a $10 gift card to the Life U Store for their time.
All participation is completely voluntary and confidential.
If you have any questions or are interested in participating, please email Dr. Herman’s graduate research assistant, Kandace Howey, at Kandace.Howey@Student.LIFE.edu
