New Digital Learning Program Coordinator
Life University is pleased to announce the addition of Georgianna “Geo” Laws as the new Digital Learning Program Coordinator. Ms. Laws previously held leadership, teaching and instructional design roles in Europe, Asia and the United States, having worked most recently at institutions such as Florida State University, the Savannah College of Art and Design and Augusta University.
Except for her teaching degree earned in 2000, all of Georgianna’s education has been earned as an online learner. Geo received her master’s degree in Adult Education and Distance Learning in 2005, through the University of Phoenix. She is scheduled to complete her Doctor of Education in Higher Education Leadership in the Summer of 2019 with Maryville University. Georgianna also earned several online certifications through the Online Learning Consortium. Her work in online education won national awards, and she is a frequent speaker at the Distance Learning Administration conference. Her doctoral research on the role of the Chief Online Education Officer will be featured in the leadership track at the United States Distance Learning Association/International Forum for Women in eLearning conference this year.
