Dr. Kessel is an Associate Professor in the Clinical Sciences Division of Life University’s College of Chiropractic, and he has been teaching and contributing to the success of Life University since 1993.
During this time he has been involved with teaching most of subject
matters in the division of Clinical Sciences. He developed many courses for various departments in the division and has dedicated
himself in providing help to an innumerable number of students, as well as to many faculty members.
On occasion, Dr. Kessel has taught for the Postgraduate Department. He has been an expert witness in scores of malpractice cases and other forms of litigation.
Dr. Kessel has authored and published: Chiropractic Clinical Assessment of the Eye, Ear, Nose and Throat with a review of Common Skin Conditions; and A Clinical Overview of Blood Chemistry Analysis and Urinalysis, co-authored with Amy (Kubat) Castin H. B.S., D.C.
His primary interest in academic research is in the application of
teaching models as they relate to different learning styles. His interests in Clinical research lie in establishing proof of the chiropractic paradigm.
Dr. Kessel is currently a member of the College of Chiropractic Curriculum Committee, the Business Curriculum Steering Committee, the Meta-Competency Development Group, the
President’s Circle, and LIFE Leadership Student Fair Representative for the COC. He served as the Chairman of Clinical Sciences Division from 2008-2015 and was President of Faculty Senate and Past Faculty Liaison to the Board of Trustees.
