Preview Day

Eagle Madness Preview Day will be held on Life University’s campus where you will spend the day learning about Life U’s undergraduate degree programs, meeting with faculty and current students, and exploring the campus. Financial Aid, Admissions and Student Service representatives will be available to answer all your questions. Enjoy lunch with us compliments of Life U. This event is open to students, counselors, parents and career advisors.

1: What are the upcoming dates for Eagle Madness?

A: Eagle Madness is offered twice a year, spring and fall. See above to find the most current available dates.

2: How far in advance can I register for Eagle Madness?

A: There is always one date available for the upcoming Eagle Madness that can be found at Visit LIFE. Eagle Madness tends to fill up fast! The registration deadline is subject to closure early due to maximum capacity. If the event registration is closed, you must book for the next available event or contact us at Events@life.edu.

3: Is there an age limit in order to attend Eagle Madness?

A: Eagle Madness is designed for a wide range of participants. We welcome all, including juniors and seniors in high school. It is important to note that all participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied to Eagle Madness by a parent or legal guardian.

4: I have registered for the Eagle Madness Event (EM). Am I done and ready to go?

A: No — there is much to do to secure your participation with us! Please be on the lookout for email correspondence, and if you need to update your email, please contact us at Events@life.edu. Please be mindful in checking your spam and trash folders for our email correspondence. Our office will contact you via email 4-6 weeks prior to the event to confirm your attendance and registration details. Without your email response and confirmation, your registration may result in forced cancellation.

5: What if my email or phone number changes since I registered for the event?

A: That is no problem, but we need you to email us at Events@life.edu with the email and telephone updates.

6: What if a friend and I are both interested in the undergraduate program and both want to come to the same event?

A: It will be great to have you and your friend attend Eagle Madness, but you will both need to register for the event separately.

7: Can I bring a guest? How many guests can I bring? What is covered for guests?

A: We strongly recommend bringing a guest. Bring your significant other or a parent/guardian and they are welcome to attend the full event and Life University will cover the cost of their lunch. You may bring up to 2 guests and if you would like to bring more there is a $100 fee for any additional guests. please contact our office at Events@life.edu . Please be sure to check the guest box on the registration page.

8: Are children welcome at Eagle Madness?

A: We do not recommend bringing children to the event because of the day-long activities as they are not designed for children. This event requires full participation at all times.

9: What if I live far away or out of state? Where can I stay? What lodging expenses will Life U cover?

A: For prospective students that live more than two hours away from Life University we are happy to provide one night stay at our host hotel on Friday night of the event. If you need a hotel for this event, be sure to indicate that on the online registration form. In a few weeks prior to the event you will receive instructions about how to make your hotel reservations online. When you make your reservation online, you will be asked to hold the room using a credit card. Reserve your room under the name of the event registrant (not necessarily the credit card holder’s name). Your credit card will not be charged and upon check-in to the hotel, Life U will pay for your complimentary stay. Please note in order to receive these extra benefits all sessions are mandatory attendance.

Note: Upon check-in, guests will need to provide a credit card for incidentals. Your credit card will not be charged for your reserved room night.

10: What if I want to stay at the hotel longer than just the event?

A: To reserve extra nights, be sure to contact the hotel directly, and you can ask for the special Life University rate. You will be responsible for the extra nights of hotel stay.

11: If I need to fly to the event which airport should I fly into and do you provide shuttle accommodations to the hotel and back to the airport?

A: Please fly into the Hartsfield Jackson International Airport (ATL). Please note that this is the busiest and biggest airport in the United States. We advise you to fly into ATL the Friday before the event. Our shuttles will run from 10:00am-7:00pm. The event is over on Saturday at 3:30 p.m., and we will have a shuttle ready to take you back to the airport that evening. Evening shuttles will begin at 4:30 p.m.-8:00 p.m. Please book returning flights departures starting at 7:00 p.m. in order to get you back to the airport in time.

For those who will not be renting a car, Life U will provide free shuttle service on Saturday morning to the event and again to the airport that evening. Please let the Events Office know that you will need shuttle transportation to the event Saturday morning. If you miss the scheduled shuttle you will need to arrange and pay for your own transportation.

12: I live locally and will drive to the event. Where will I park?

A: The Events office will email you a campus map and provide you with a parking pass so you can park on campus.

13: Are there any activities on Friday?

A: No, there are not any activities on Friday. Friday is used as a travel day for most of our guest. Guests are encourage to explore Atlanta and the surrounding area on Friday night.

14: Will my hotel room be cancelled if I arrive late to the hotel on Friday evening?

A: No, regardless of your hotel arrival time on Friday, your hotel reservation will not be cancelled.


15: Can I apply to Life University during Eagle Madness?

A: Yes, but we highly recommend you apply BEFORE the event. You will receive an email with instructions to apply and also be asked to submit Official (sealed) transcripts/documents to the Enrollment Admissions Office. If you choose to bring your Official (sealed) transcripts/documents with you to the event please turn these in preferably during registration on Saturday morning upon arrival. There will be opportunities to apply as soon as the event is over on Saturday afternoon. Acceptance letters could be given out during Eagle Madness to those who complete the full application process prior to the event.

16: Is the application fee waived during EM?

A: Yes, the application fee will be waived during this event.

17: What meals will be provided?

A: The host hotel will provide a complimentary buffet breakfast on Saturday morning and Life University will provide lunch on Saturday. Buffet breakfast consists of oatmeal, eggs, bacon, toast, apples, coffee, juice and tea. However, on Saturday morning, you are welcome to purchase different meal options from their breakfast menu should you not like the buffet selection.

18: Do you accommodate for any Dietary Restrictions?

A: No, however our menu will provide you with a variety of options that may be suitable for you. It is important to note that you are responsible for any food allergies you have and are welcome to check the ingredient list with our catering staff before eating. You may need to plan accordingly and you are welcome to bring any additional food items with you to the event.

19: Is there a dress code for Eagle Madness?

A: Eagle Madness is casual attire. We will be doing a lot of walking and moving around, so comfortable shoes and clothes are important. The indoors can be cool, please be prepared and dress in layers so that you are comfortable. It is always a good idea to check and prepare for rainy weather and bring an umbrella to the event if needed. CLICK HERE for weather updates.

20: What happens at Eagle Madness that I wouldn’t get to experience in the regular weekly tour?

A: There are a number of unique elements that only happen at EM. You will be able to interact with current students and faculty who can answer questions about the programs offered at Life University. You will meet with the Department Heads and have an extensive look/demonstrations into the programs offered here at Life U.

21: I’m trying to plan travel and other details. What is the schedule for Eagle Madness?

A: CLICK HERE for an outline (PDF) of a typical event. Each event is offered two times a year and the schedule changes slightly from event to event, but this agenda will give you an idea of what Eagle Madness is all about.

22: How is the Campus Tour conducted?

A: A campus facilities tour is included in the schedule and is conducted by current students of Life University. This is a walking tour of our campus so comfortable shoes and clothes are important.

23: Will I be able to visit a classroom?

A: Yes, at Eagle Madness you will be able to visit our classrooms, but keep in mind, there will not be classes in session. The department demonstrations however will be held in the classrooms.

24: Will I have a chance to visit the Life U Shop?

A: Yes, the Life U Shop will be open after the event is over for your shopping convenience and coupons will be distributed for you to use.

25: Can I come to more than one Eagle Madness?

A: YES! However, if you are a returning EM attendee, Life U asks that you cover the following expenses:

1. $100 registration fee (which can be paid at registration). This fee covers food, event and weekend materials.
2. If you are traveling more than two hours you are also responsible for hotel and transportation if needed. No travel reimbursements are applied a second time for your visit.

26: What if I need to change/cancel my EM registration to a new date, can I do it online?

A: No, you must email us at Events@life.edu to let us know your changes and we will be happy to move/cancel your registration.

27: What undergraduate programs do you offer at Life University and do you have any Graduate Programs?

A: Yes! We have 14 undergraduate degrees and three graduate degree programs. To explore our programs, CLICK HERE.

28: Does Life University have designated smoking areas?

No, Life University is a smoke-free, tobacco-free/drug free campus. This includes all electronic smoking devices (e.g. E-cigarettes).

29: Once I register for the Eagle Madness Preview Day, is attendance/check in mandatory?

Yes! All prospective students must attend the Preview Day on Saturday in order to receive benefits. Check in on Saturday morning is also mandatory for all participants. The designated time for attendance is Saturday from 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. In return, Life University covers your one-night hotel stay, food/meals, transportation and registration costs for you and two guests. If you need to change or cancel your registration, please email Events@life.edu.
