Winter Quarter 2019 FSDP
ATTENTION: Life University Faculty & Staff
FROM: Dr. Tim Gross, Vice President for Academic Affairs
The Faculty and Staff Development Program (FSDP) for the Winter Quarter will begin on Wednesday, January 2, 2019. The FSDP provides an opportunity for the LIFE community to gather with colleagues, hear important announcements, recognize faculty and staff accomplishments, and participate in workshops to enhance professional and personal development.
The upcoming FSDP will mark the launch of a University-wide focus on student engagement and retention. In support of this focus, the January event will feature Dr. Neal Raisman, a leading speaker and researcher on the role of customer service in promoting student enrollment and retention. In his sessions, Dr. Raisman will share research and practical solutions related to improving student retention, and how faculty and staff can contribute.
The Winter FSDP will also include a Faculty and Staff Showcase, an informal event highlighting the work of Life University employees. During the showcase, attendees will select from several 10-minute micro-sessions to learn about campus initiatives, departmental successes and scholarly activities conducted by our faculty and staff.
