During his tenure, he guided both institutions through significant academic and organizational development and growth.

Beyond higher education, Dr. Kelly has made significant contributions to the advancement of the chiropractic profession through professional service, governance and research advocacy. His professional perspective is grounded in clinical practice. Before coming to Life University, Dr. Kelly practiced in Auckland, New Zealand, caring for a diverse patient population that included elite athletes and individuals experiencing concussion and brain injury. These experiences, together with his leadership in higher education, have reinforced his appreciation for the relationship between patient care, scientific inquiry, education and organizational excellence.

Dr. Kelly earned his Bachelor of Applied Science (Chiropractic) from RMIT, formerly the Phillip Institute of Technology in Australia, and completed a Master of Business Administration through the University of Waikato in New Zealand. His combination of clinical, academic and executive experience informs his approach to leadership and institutional strategy.

As President-Elect of Life University, Dr. Kelly is committed to building upon the University’s rich history and distinctive mission while positioning it for continued success. He believes meaningful progress begins with listening, collaboration and a shared sense of purpose. By engaging students, faculty, staff, alumni and friends of the University, he seeks to foster academic excellence, support student success and strengthen Life University’s role as a leader in chiropractic education and whole-person health.
