Eligible Cobb County residents may receive a 20% scholarship toward undergraduate tuition and fees at Life University.

This scholarship is designed to make a Life U education more accessible for students in our local community while supporting your academic and career goals.

  • Applies to all eligible undergraduate programs
  • Available for both on-campus and select online programs
  • Automatically considered for eligible students during the admissions process

Note: This scholarship applies to tuition and fees only and does not include housing, meal plans, or other personal expenses.

First-year students must have a minimum 3.0 high school GPA at the time of admission to qualify for the Cobb County Tuition Scholarship.

This ensures students are prepared to succeed in Life University’s academic environment from day one.

  • GPA must be verified through official transcripts
  • Applies to incoming first-time college students
  • Students who do not meet the GPA requirement may still apply to Life University and explore other financial aid options

To continue receiving the scholarship, students must maintain a minimum 2.75 GPA while enrolled at Life University.

This requirement helps ensure you stay on track academically while continuing to benefit from the scholarship.

  • GPA is reviewed periodically based on university academic policies
  • Students who fall below the requirement may risk losing the scholarship
  • Academic support resources are available to help you stay eligible

Transfer students who are residents of Cobb County may also qualify for the scholarship.

To be eligible, transfer students must meet the following criteria:

  • Minimum 2.75 cumulative GPA from previous institutions
  • Enrollment in an undergraduate program at Life University
  • Maintain a 2.75 GPA while enrolled to continue receiving the scholarship

This makes it easier to transition into Life U while continuing your academic journey with financial support.

Student-athletes receiving athletic scholarships may still be eligible for the Cobb County Tuition Scholarship.

Life University will award whichever benefit is greater:

  • The 20% tuition and fees scholarship
  • OR the existing athletic scholarship amount

This ensures student-athletes receive the maximum financial support available to them.

Eligibility and final award amounts are determined in coordination with Admissions and Athletics.
