EDUCATIONDoctor of Chiropractic – Life Chiropractic College, 1989 Bachelor of Biology – State University of New York in Albany, 1985 BIO:Dr. Drew Rubin has been in private practice since 1989 and is adjunct faculty at Life University, College of Chiropractic, where he teaches Pediatric Diagnosis and three Pediatric electives. Dr. Rubin speaks for the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA), whose founder Dr. Larry Webster he considers one of his heroes and mentors. He earned the Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (C.C.S.P.) title and is a board certified Diplomate in Chiropractic Pediatrics, for successful completion of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association’s Three Hundred and Sixty Hour Diplomate Program (D.A.C.C.P.) In addition to 10 pediatric papers being published since 2007 in chiropractic journals, (Journal of Vertebral Subluxation Research, Journal of Chiropractic Medicine, and Journal of Pediatric, Family and Maternal Health), he has written two chiropractic novels, The Adjustment and its sequel, The Acceptance.
Dr. Rubin has been playing hockey for over 40 years and won the Sportsman of the Season award in 2010. The graduating classes honored him at Life University seven quarters in a row for outstanding service, and he is a proud PEAK doctor, having mentoring 20 students in his private pediatric-based practice since 2011. Dr. Rubin lives in Marietta with his wife, Lisa, a clinical psychologist and director of the Student Success Center at Life University, and their son, Palmer.
