Dr. Bloomingdale BS, DC, CCSP, Associate Professor, is a graduate of LeBow College of Business, Drexel University, Philadelphia, Pa (1971), and a graduate of the Life College of Chiropractic, Marietta, Ga (1984). He has served twice as a member of the Life University faculty both prior to and after opening a 20+ year private practice in Toccoa, Ga from which he retired in 2008. Prior to chiropractic he enjoyed 9+ years of corporate management life with Mobil Corporation, working in the Michigan and New Jersey markets.
He has enjoyed serving in both didactic and clinic faculty positions over the years. In the 1980’s and again since 2010, he has served on multiple university committees, and a total of four terms as president of the Faculty Senate.
Certifications include Sports Injury (100 hours, Logan College) X-ray Proficiency (100 hours, Dr. Russell Erhardt), Thompson Technique (Dr. Clay Thompson), Pierce-Stillwagon Technique (Dr. Pierce) as well as hundreds of hours of seminars on practice management, traumatic injury, adjusting techniques, course & curriculum development, research and instructional methods.
Along with his wife, Laura of 35 years (also a LCC alum!), he maintains his residence near his beloved Appalachian mountains in Rabun Gap, Ga commuting weekly to Marietta to enjoy his other life-long loves, chiropractic and education.
