YOUR PURPOSE, SUPPORTED
At Life University, we’re committed to making quality education more accessible. Scholarships are an essential part of our mission to help students focus on what matters most—learning, leading, and living their purpose.
Whether you’re a first-year undergraduate, a graduate student pursuing advanced studies, or working toward your Doctor of Chiropractic degree, there are scholarship opportunities designed with your journey in mind. We also provide connections to external scholarships and unique funding opportunities like RISE (Research, Innovation, Service, and Education) awards that support community-driven initiatives and academic excellence.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
When should I apply for scholarships?
Scholarship cycles typically open during specific windows throughout the academic year, and deadlines may vary depending on the scholarship you are applying for.
However, Life University scholarships close on May 1st each year. Be sure to check life.awardspring.com regularly for new opportunities. Many scholarships require you to apply each year.
How do I apply for Life University scholarships?
All internal scholarships are managed through our online Scholarship Portal. You’ll need to create an account, complete your profile, and upload any required materials such as essays, transcripts, or recommendation letters.
Am I eligible for scholarships if I’m a new student?
Yes! Many scholarships are available to incoming undergraduate, graduate, and chiropractic students. Some awards may require a certain GPA or community involvement, but there are options for first-time enrollees.
Can I apply for more than one scholarship?
Absolutely. Once you complete your profile in the Scholarship Portal, you’ll be automatically matched with all scholarships you’re eligible for. You can apply to multiple opportunities at once.
What types of scholarships does Life University offer?
We offer a wide range of scholarships including:
-
Merit-based scholarships (based on academic performance)
-
Need-based scholarships
-
Program-specific scholarships (e.g., Chiropractic, Graduate Studies)
-
RISE Scholarships (for service and research projects)
-
Endowed and alumni-funded awards
You can also explore a list of external scholarships here.
Do I need to fill out the FAFSA to apply for scholarships?
It’s strongly recommended. While not all scholarships require FAFSA completion, many need-based awards do. Submitting the FAFSA also helps determine your eligibility for other types of aid.
Are scholarships renewable each year?
Some scholarships are one-time awards, while others may be renewable based on GPA or enrollment status. Always check the specific requirements of each scholarship you’re applying to.
