Dear Colleagues,

As promised on March 29, 2013 I am pleased to advise you of the dates for the workshop related to reverse engineering the findings expressed in “scenario four” of the Institute for Alternative Futures (www.altfutures.org) report: Chiropractic 2025. I am equally pleased to bring you some additional detail to the structure of the meetings being planned as well as related to the participants to be involved.

September 12-14, 2013 on the campus of Life University, Marietta, Georgia will be the date of the workshop to address the paths to fulfillment of the IAF’s “scenario four”.

It is with great pleasure that I advise you of some of the persons who will gather at Life University for this important Octagon event:

  • Clem Bezold, Ph.D. with Alvin Tofler (Future Shock) co-founder of The Institute for Alternative Futures. Dr. Bezold currently serves as the Chairman of the Board of The Institute for Alternative Futures author of Chiropractic 2025
  • Beth Clay, Health and healthcare policy consultant, former NIH staff member and senior professional staff to the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Oversight and Government Reform
  • Stephanie Sullivan, D.C., Director of Sponsored Research and Scholarly Activity, Life University, Marietta, Georgia
  • Pamela Snider, N.D. Executive Editor “The Foundations of Naturopathic Medicine Project”, founding Executive Director of the Academic Consortium for Complementary and Alternative Health Care.

The workshop participants will meet on September 12-13 in a closed session and on September 14 the participants will present a report on their efforts and an outline of their recommendations to a gathering of any interested parties. The exact times and locations of the September 14 public session will follow.
