BIOGRAPHY
Kathryn Bruce is an assistant professor in the Health Sciences Department at Life University. She received her Ph.D. in Cell and Molecular Biology from Georgia Tech. Her graduate research centered on prion species barriers with an effort to study and prevent protein misfolding - a hallmark of numerous diseases. Kathryn was a recipient of a United States Department of Education graduate fellowship to train future educators, a Ga Tech Presidential fellowship, and a Drug Design Development and Delivery fellowship. Kathryn has taught courses for Life University’s main campus as well as for the online program. Kathryn has also taught classes as a faculty participant in Life University’s Chillon Project.
