Lynn Krothe
BIOGRAPHY
Education
Prior to Life University, Lynn attended Slippery Rock State College in Pennsylvania, studying teaching for a Health and Physical Education degree.
She graduated from Life University with her Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 1998, and immediately started teaching at the University after graduation. She has been a faculty member at Life since 1998, for 25 years now.
She is an Assistant Professor and the lead instructor in both Muscle, Gait and Posture Analysis, 7th quarter, and Technique Strategies, 13th quarter, in the Division of Chiropractic Sciences.
She received the Vulcan Teaching Excellence Award for 2020 as an outstanding professor, from members of the Georgia Independent College Association. The award recognizes an exceptional faculty member who demonstrates strong academic skills in the classroom and provides leadership and support in other areas of campus life. The recipient is a faculty member who assists the institution in nurturing an academic climate that fosters learning and leadership to enhance the campus community.
Dr. Krothe has also been a leader in the campus community with her involvement and oversight for student technique organizations, and the training of Faculty to be advisors in the technique organizations and training the students to be presidents of their clubs. She was instrumental in identifying methods that could be streamlined for students in technique clubs, allowing them an easier way to activate their groups. She has created a process for consistent faculty training, student president training, and monitored advisers for service credit and helped student technique clubs in finding another qualified advisor if needed.
