Dr. Stockwell began her professional journey as an educator in Michigan, followed by serving as Executive Director of an Arts Council near New York City. It was when she discovered chiropractic that she found her true calling. Dr. Stockwell maintained a pediatric practice with a focus on Chiropractic BioPhysics© in Northern Michigan for 19 years. She moved to Georgia in 2012 to join the Clinic Faculty at Life University. She has served the University in a variety of capacities, including serving on Faculty and University committees and task groups. She served on the Faculty Affairs, Faculty Development and Curriculum Committees, the Faculty Senate Executive Committee and was elected by her peers to preside over the Faculty Senate. She continues to serve on the Institutional Review Board and is the Faculty Advisor for the Chiropractic BioPhysics© club. Dr. Stockwell served as Executive Director for Clinical Operations prior to returning to the classroom where she teaches Chiropractic BioPhysics©, and technique and analysis labs within the Chiropractic Sciences.
Dr. Stockwell was drawn to Life University because of its Mission and Vision for the future of chiropractic. She continues to work diligently to ensure that future chiropractors understand the importance of delivering principled chiropractic care and have access to the research that validates it. She resides in Marietta near all 4 of her children, their spouses, and her 8 grandchildren.
