Dr. Nancy Tress is an adjunct instructor of Biology in the Distance Learning Division. She received her PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Pittsburgh, School of Medicine and completed a Post-Doctoral Research Fellowship in Molecular Biology at Colorado State University. Dr. Tress is passionate about online learning and is always developing new tools and techniques to help her students succeed. She has worked extensively with undergraduate students on research projects and is currently working on several new open source online education modules. Currently she resides in Pennsylvania with her family and in her spare time she enjoys reading, playing video games and training a service dog.
