Center for Chiropractic Research
Serving the Chiropractic profession through research
Our stated mission is to:
“Advance the chiropractic profession through engagement in research of significance conducted in alignment with the Vision Statement of Life University.”
We will accomplish these general goals:
- Design and implement research projects on clinical outcomes and neurological and biomechanical functions resulting in publications and presentations.
- Enhance the mission driven research portfolio and growth opportunities of the CCR through attainment of external funding.
- Develop collaborative research partnerships designed to enrich the research conducted as part of the CCR.
PAT (Palpation Adjusting Technology)
Life University is yet again leading the way in chiropractic education with PAT (Palpation Adjusting Technology). PAT is an anatomically accurate, technology-based mannequin with the look, feel, size and weight of an average person. PAT allows students to receive immediate, objective feedback about the “where, how hard, how fast and in which direction” part of adjusting to develop these important skills necessary for care of patients.
